    • Milton and Della, moved from Ontario near Kitchner to Brandon, Manitoba during the WWII. They were being harassed for being "German" and they also changed their surname from Bretz to Bretts.

      Madeline Bretz of Winnipeg, a cousin, would take the Greyhound bus there to visit them occasionally and stay for the weekend with them.
